1. Nature of Services

CPA Quick Support provides advisory discussions and consultation only. It is limited to strategic tax and business guidance. No preparation, calculations, filing, implementation, document review, representation, or hands-on work is included. All guidance is based solely on the information provided by the subscriber.

2. Scope of Access

Each billing cycle includes up to three (3) separate topic discussions. Unlimited written messaging is permitted within each topic during the active billing cycle. Topic allowances reset at the start of each new billing cycle. If you continue discussing the same matter in a new billing cycle, it will count as one of that new cycle’s three topic allocations.

3. Excluded Services

This membership does not include, including but not limited to: tax return preparation or filing; bookkeeping or reconciliations; calculation or verification of tax amounts; review of financial statements or supporting documentation; drafting or submitting correspondence to the Canada Revenue Agency; CRA representation; implementation of tax strategies; legal advice; audit support; or any compliance services. Any matter requiring detailed analysis, calculations, documentation review, filing, or representation will require a separate written engagement.

4. Subscriber Responsibility

You remain fully responsible for final figures, documentation, compliance decisions, and any actions taken based on guidance provided. Tauro Accounting relies entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the information you supply.

5. Billing and Cancellation

Membership fees are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the client portal. Access to advisory discussions remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. Unused topic allocations do not carry forward.

6. No Accountant-of-Record Relationship

This membership does not establish Tauro Accounting as accountant-of-record and does not create an ongoing compliance, filing, or representation relationship. Formal services require a separate written agreement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability arising from this membership is limited to the total fees paid by you during the preceding three (3) months.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.

Traditional CPA consultations typically range from $150 to $250 per hour, and one session is often not enough to cover follow-up questions. This service is particularly valuable for those who don't have a full-time accountant, as well as business owners who work with an accountant only at year-end but want guidance during the year.
Yes. Many clients use CPA Quick Support because their existing accountant handles year-end preparation or compliance but doesn't offer ongoing access for questions throughout the year. Others simply prefer having an additional professional perspective when making decisions. This membership is designed to provide clarity and direction between formal engagements, regardless of whether you currently work with another accountant.
Both plans include up to three topic discussions per month with unlimited written messaging within each topic. The only difference is response time. Standard provides responses within 1–3 business days. Priority provides same-business-day responses for questions submitted before 4:00 p.m. EST on business days.
Each month allows you to initiate up to three separate subject areas for discussion. Within each topic, you may send unlimited written messages. For example, if one topic is "business vehicle expenses," you can ask follow-up questions about personal vs. corporate ownership, what portion is deductible, how business use is determined, and what documentation is required: all within that single topic. A separate discussion about shareholder dividends or payroll would count as an additional topic.
You may ask strategic tax and business questions that require professional clarity and direction. This includes understanding deductibility, evaluating options, interpreting tax rules, reviewing CRA correspondence, and assessing potential risks. The service is advisory only and does not include execution or preparation work.
No. All guidance is provided by Ontario-based CPAs working directly with Tauro Accounting.
General information is widely available online. CPA Quick Support provides licensed CPA guidance tailored to your specific circumstances and grounded in Canadian tax law, not generic answers that may or may not apply to your situation.
